HOW DO I REQUEST/BOOK A TEAM EVENT?

WHAT WILL IT COST ME? 

Each event type has its own particular price, which is conveniently mentioned on the page of the event itself. We would like to remind you that the prices are not fixed, and that the programme can be adjusted to your budget and preferences.

WILL WE KNOW IN ADVANCE WHICH RESTAURANTS WE WILL BE GOING TO?

Discover Belgium likes a surprise. That is why we will not share where we will be eating in advance. We also have to take the availability of the restaurants and the group sizes into account. But rest assured: we have an elaborate network of carefully selected partners at our disposal!

WILL WE KNOW IN ADVANCE WHAT WE WILL BE EATING DURING THE FOOD TOUR?

What we will be eating that evening/noon will remain a surprise until it appears on your plate! We do this to pique our clients’ curiosity. The basic programme provides you with one starter (accompanied by a glass of wine or beer), a main (again accompanied by a glass of wine or beer) and a dessert (with a nice cup of coffee or tea). The chefs will work some culinary miracles to fit your hungry needs! Please do inform us about any special dietary wishes in advance, so our chefs can take them into account.

WHEN SHOULD I COMMUNICATE MY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS? 

Please do let us know about any dietary wishes as soon as possible, so we can communicate them to our chefs. This is free of charge until 5 days before the event takes place, after this period an administrative cost of € 17 will be charged.

WHEN CAN THE EVENTS TAKE PLACE? 

Events can usually be organised according to your time schedule. But of course we have to take the availabilities of our partners and/or guides into account. Events in the city that include appetisers can only be organised during the day, and sometimes not on a Sunday. Our food tours and city games can be organised at noon as well as in the evenings, if the opening hours of the restaurants allow for it.

HOW DO I PAY? 

After receiving a confirmation of your booking, we will ask you to make an advance payment of €500 to the following account number: IBAN BE36 7360 1666 6381- BIC KREDBEBB. After we received this advance, the reservation will be considered final and reservations with our partners will be made. Two weeks before the event takes place we will ask you to transfer the amount due to the same account number.

WHAT WITH LAST-MINUTE CHANGES? 

Two weeks before the event, the communicated amount of participants will be fixed. Based on this amount, an invoice will be drawn up. The payment should be made before the start of the event.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY EVENT? 

Following cancellation costs are applicable:
– Until 1 month before the event/course: cancellation charge of 10%* with a minimum of €500
– Between 1 month and two weeks before the event/course: cancellation charge of 50%*
– Between two weeks and the last working day before the event/course: cancellation charge of 75% *
– On the day of the event: cancellation charge of 100%*
– Not showing up on the day of the event: cancellation charge of 100%*

*based on the formerly agreed number of participants.

WHAT ARE THE AVAILABLE LANGUAGES? 

All events can be booked in our three national languages: French, Dutch and German. English is of course no problem! Other languages can be requested and offered depending on the availability in the particular city.
